Broomfield, CO (June 18, 2007) - Cummins Rocky Mountain, LLC is proud to announce an agreement with Aeroserve Technologies Ltd. to promote and sell its Airtab product. Cummins Rocky Mountain, LLC strives to align themselves with companies that have products offering premiere safety and fuel economy benefits, adding value to our end user customers. Recognizing that wind resistance creates over 50% of the load on our engines at highway speeds, we believe that aerodynamic enhancements will not only improve safety through better vehicle stability and handling for our customers, but also improve the overall performance and fuel economy of our engines. Based on internal testing and customer feedback, results indicated that the Airtab product brings immediate safety and fuel economy benefits to customers running equipment in highway speed situations. Our confidence in the product led us at Cummins Rocky Mountain into working closely with Airtab to share the benefits with existing and new customers. We look forward to working closely with Aeroserve Ltd. to greatly increase their market size and customer base in the on highway vehicle market. The benefits to our mutual customers will be through improved vehicle stability, resulting in improved safety, reduced tire wear, along with fuel economy improvements from the reduction in aerodynamic drag. The Airtab product is easy to install, requires very little maintenance once installed and is very reasonably priced.
Scott Bentz, VP of On-Highway Business recently installed Airtabs™ on his 50’ race car transport trailer. After doing a back-to-back test over a controlled 30-mile section of highway he was convinced immediately that based upon stability alone, the Airtabs were a winner. In addition, the electronic fuel measuring device he used during the test showed a greater than 2% MPG improvement. “I have been the skeptic on many fuel economy devices, but this one makes so much sense, so reasonable on price, and is so easy to install. It is a great product! The stability improvement in cross winds, or while passing, makes the product an immediate need for all high profile vehicles. To get a fuel economy improvement in addition, just adds to the benefit.”
